So many lovely people in India. So many beautiful faces. Each with a story, each with a smile. Loved my time there so much.

Photo Friday: Resorts World Sentosa Lobby

Resorts World Sentosa Island Singapore

Hanging Lanterns,
Mobile Phone Picture May 2010

The Sentosa of 2010 is very different than the Sentosa island of 2004 when we first arrived in Singapore. The quiet laid back beaches have been replaced by luxuary homes, upscale bars and more notiably the Resort World's hotel, casino and shopping complex and Universal Studios. While I miss the more staid and casual Sentosa beaches, I can honestly say that the art work and the some of the interior design has been a welcome addition.

Photo of the Day: Leal Senado Steps

Leal Senado Steps Macau

I have been looking over snaps I took in Tokyo in September/October 2002 and on the same disk were pictures from our trip to Hong Kong and Macau. This is Declan in 2002 checking out the steps of the Leal Senado. Looking back this year of Declan's life was pretty amazing, at the age of 18 months he had been all around Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong and Macau, Phuket, Guam and the US. Pretty amazing!

Photo of the Day:Zhujaijiao China

Pulling out an old photo for you all. This was Vagabondboy's first trip to China at the age of 11 months. We traveled to Shanghai and the town of Zhujiajiao (known mostly now for the filming of the Mission Impossible Movie with Tom Cruise) but this was quite a few years before that.

Offerings at the oldest Chinese Temple in Miri-Tua Pek Kong.

I am about to set off for a 2 week trip back to the USA. While wasting time today, I started to work on a report on Miri, a small town in Sarawak Malaysia on the island of Borneo. There were so many great sights over the 3 days we were there, I will tempt you with a few before my post tomorrow.
